Do you guys buy comics??? I have tons of golden age , gold key , Whitman etc comics that I need help selling. Lots of the books are in great condition

I read Sgt Rock, Captain Storm, a PT boat skipper sunk by a Japanese sub, and one series of a tank commander of a Stuart light tank which was helped by the ghost of General Stuart, I think. It was a long time ago!

I'm very late of this video. However, if I came across those Gold Key comic books in a bargain bin, I'd pull the trigger on many of them! I'm a first generation viewer of the Flintstones, the Jetsons, and Top Cat.

What an amazing video, which deserves 10X the views that it has (5 years later). We all fall prey to impulse buys and decide to "pivot" our collections, only to turn around and find ourselves with long boxes of comics that are worth almost nothing. I've seen it at comic shops so many times where people come in with boxes of junk, and they need to make room at their house, but they can't let them go for nothing, so they either deal with the clutter or finally give in and take pennies on the dollar from the local comic book shop. Pre-planning a purchase like this earmarks your major spending on comics for the next 2-3 years, gives you a small collection that you're proud of, and makes it easy to pivot if your tastes change.

Would you suggest the same method if I’m just shipping one comic book?

I kills me that the fold crease up the middle, however faint, is such a detraction from a 50+ year old comic! I held on to my comic collection from the 60's-70's until just recently and while I had taken very good care of them over the years and they were boarded and bagged a lot of them had that faint crease because you know what? Kids bought comics and put them in their back pockets walking home from the store! Jeez, these are items kids bought a half century ago....they're not going to be perfect!
